who-we-are

Who we are

Resources and energy projects operate across Queensland – often near homes, farms, and local businesses.

As an independent statutory body, our job is to help landholders, communities, industry, and government facilitate balanced development outcomes, and support the preparedness of communities where resource and energy developments are occurring.

What we hear from landholders and communities shapes the independent information and practical guidance we provide.

What is sustainable coexistence?

Sustainable coexistence signifies a balanced, empathetic, and forward-looking approach, where industry and community thrive together, valuing both people and the environment, while cultivating enduring relationships.
